Sandy Clark, PhD
Dr. Sandy completed her Bachelor’s in Psychology at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, MO in 2005 and received her PhD in School Psychology through Illinois State University in June of 2017. She joined the ABLE Center team as a school psychology intern in 2013, and she has since joined the practice full time to provide a range of intervention services under the supervision of a licensed psychologist. She is currently a postdoctoral fellow in the clinic under the supervision of Dr. Huffman.
Dr. Sandy incorporates a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to the needs of each child including cognitive behavioral therapy, behavioral strategies, play therapy, and sensory strategies.
Dr. Sandy strongly believes in using a child’s strengths and interests to help develop needed skills and also in empowering parents and families to assist in the treatment of their child.
