Dr. Jennifer Imig Huffman (she/her) is an Illinois Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Board Certified Pediatric Neuropsychologist.


She specializes in assessment and support for neurodivergence across the lifespan.


During her training and career, Dr. Huffman has worked extensively with autistic and neurodivergent individuals, of all ages, and their families.


Dr. Huffman believes strongly in the importance of integration of home, school, and work supports to help individuals overcome their obstacles and enhance their strengths. She is frequently asked to particpate in IEP and Section 504 meetings to help schools understand how neurocognitive and psychosocial functioning can impact educational progress and well-being. She is also sought out as a consultant and independent evaluator for Independent Educational Evaluations of neurodevelopmental and neuropsychological related concerns impacting education. Additionally, she frequently consults with homeschooling parents to help them overcome their child's obstacles and enhance their strengths through self-directed learning approaches to homeschooling.

2000       MS from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, Clinical Psychology/Neuropsychology

2004       PhD from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science Clinical Psychology/Neuropsychology 

2005       Pediatric Neuropsychology Postdoctoral Fellowship, ENH’s Evaluation Center for Learning

2006       Adult and Geriatric Neuropsychology Postdoctoral Fellowship, Zablocki’s VA Medical Center

2008       Credentialed as a National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology

2009       Licensed in Illinois as a Clinical Psychologist

2016       Board Certified in Pediatric Neuropsychology by the Academy of Pediatric Neuropsychology

2020       Certified as an Autism Specialist

2021       Registered as a Telehealth Psychologist for the state of Florida

2022       Authorized to practice telepsychology by PSYPACT, an interstate compact that allows psychologists licensed in                                 PSYPACT to practice telepsychology 


Dr. Huffman is neurodivergent herself and understands the challenges and embraces the strengths in individuals with learning and social differences.  She and her husband have three children, two dogs, and two cats.
