Denea holds a bachelor’s degree in Speech Language and Hearing Science from the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities and is currently completing her Master’s degree at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana in the School of Social Work. She has experience in teaching, guardianship over adjudicated disabled adults, and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with children with Autism and Asperger’s diagnoses. She was previously employed under the direction and supervision of Dr. Ivar Lovaas and Dr. Eric Larsson with the Lovaas Institute Midwest in Minneapolis, Minnesota for five years. Denea’s experience and education offer individualized intensive early intervention behavior therapy services directly and independently to children with autism to teach language and communication, social skills and behavior, and daily living activities. Personally, Denea enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and going to theatre shows and concerts.
