Jordan Marshall, MS
Jordan is a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) in the state of Illinois. She received her Bachelor’s in psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and her Master’s in clinical-counseling psychology from Illinois State University. She completed her graduate practicum at the Institute for Human Resources, working with both families and individuals (ranging from early childhood to late adulthood) experiencing difficulties with anxiety, emotion regulation, autism-spectrum disorder, trauma/attachment, and behavioral concerns.
Jordan takes an eclectic approach to mental health, accentuating clients’ strengths and incorporating, play-based therapy, mindfulness, sensory strategies, movement and rhythm, behavior modification/skill building, and family interactions. In her work, Jordan emphasizes the importance of relationships (family, peer, etc.) with regard to wellbeing.
