Recommendations for specific interventions, including individual and group therapy, are an important part of the comprehensive evaluation process.
We provide interventions on a limited basis in clinic with integration of cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, social skills, developmental therapy, and neuropsychological rehabilitation.
Psychoeducation and problem-solving for children, their parents, and their teachers is an important part of our intervention process.
Typical referrals for individual therapy include: general neurodevelopmental delay, autism spectrum disorder, Asperger’s syndrome, anxiety or obsessive compulsive symptoms, Tourette’s, tics and impulse control issues, complex ADHD, learning disabilities, academic failure, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, sensory processing difficulties, and meltdowns.
