Elisabeth Anderson, SSP, NCSP
Elisabeth (she/her) is a nationally certified school psychologist. She earned her master’s degree in child psychology and specialist degree in school psychology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Elisabeth previously served within the public school setting for eight years before joining Dr. Huffman in her practice.
Her interests lie in the area of neurodiversity, specifically learning disabilities such as dyslexia, as well as autism spectrum and attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder.
In addition to an interest in neurodivergency, Elisabeth is dedicated to helping parents understand special education procedures - including how to make a parent request, the evaluation process, timelines, making informed decisions, and playing an active role in developing an individual education plan for their child.
Elisabeth is neurodivergent herself and personally understands some of the challenges and embraces the strengths in individuals with learning and social differences. When not working, Elisabeth enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, traveling, or hanging out at home with her pets and plants.
