Neurodiversity Affirming Neuropsychologist
Welcome to my neurodiversity affirming practice. I am an Illinois Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Board Certified Pediatric Neuropsychologist. I specialize in assessment and support for neurodivergence across the lifespan.
During my training and career, I have worked extensively with autistic and neurodivergent individuals, of all ages, and their families.
I believe strongly in the importance of integration of home, school, and work supports to help individuals overcome their obstacles and enhance their strengths. I am frequently asked to particpate in IEP and Section 504 meetings to help schools understand how neurocognitive and psychosocial functioning can impact educational progress and well-being. I am also sought out as a consultant and independent evaluator for Independent Educational Evaluations of neurodevelopmental and neuropsychological related concerns impacting education. I focus on neurodiversity-affirming, child-led approaches that support a child's natural growth and development. Additionally, I frequently consult with homeschooling parents to help them work with their child to overcome their child's obstacles and enhance their strengths through self-directed learning approaches to homeschooling.
